About the Event
Dekathon 3.0
Dekathon 3.0 is a 3-day Indo-Malaysian design hackathon jointly organized by St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chengannur, in association with Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University, and Kerala Startup Mission. The event will take place from March 5-7, 2025, with a central theme of "Sustainable Development Goals: Innovate for a Better Future."
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a collective commitment to address global challenges such as poverty, environmental sustainability, and social well-being. Dekathon 3.0 provides participants with the platform to :
- Learn – Engage in expert-led workshops and talks on SDGs and technological solutions.
- Innovate – Work collaboratively to develop creative solutions for sustainability challenges
- Pitch – Present well-structured pitch decks showcasing your innovation.
- Compete – Win recognition and exciting rewards by impressing a distinguished panel of judges.
Throughout the hackathon, participants will have access to mentors, industry experts, and technical resources to guide them in refining their ideas and preparing impactful presentations
